SlideRocket

Whilst other free presentation software (e.g. Google and Zoho) is going down the route of including less functionality than well known proprietary, concentrating on the most used elements, SlideRocket has gone in the other direction. Now if you want to produce a very slick presentation (comparable to a Mac) then you’ll be able to, or at least when it generally released beyond the private beta.

This software is creating a real buzz in the blogosphere. I can’t wait to use it. Hurry up SlideRocket, we need you.

Screencasting

If you want to capture your working on the screen, with the potential to include an audio commentary, then CamStudio can do the job with ‘nowt’ to pay. The subsequently produced video files ate standard AVI and there is converter software bundled that can convert these files to Streaming Flash video.
